With BioExcess, data security expert EgisTec has launched a new software tool that makes your PC not only safer but also significantly easier and quicker to use. The product is primarily aimed at users of the new generation of notebooks and netbooks that already have built-in fingerprint scanners. Combined with BioExcess, only the legitimate owners are guaranteed access to the data. In addition, you can launch programs and open websites with each individual finger by simply swiping over the sensor. You can therefore log in quickly, automatically and safely to social media services and other websites. The problem: More and more online accounts, including social media sites
If you use interactive sites, you automatically have a security problem. Using an increasing amount of online services and platforms means an ever-rising number of personal passwords. Using different websites, mail services, online shops and social media sites is becoming more inconvenient and time-consuming, and sometimes the user forgoes security and uses, for example, only one password for all services. Experts consider this to be dangerous.
The solution: Log in with one finger swipe
EgisTec BioExcess offers an easy solution because the software not only protects access to the PC with your personal fingerprint, it also memorises passwords and automatically logs you in as soon as you swipe your finger over the sensor.

Highly secure encryption: EgisTec BioExcess Plus enhances Windows with file encryption to effectively protect personal data against unauthorized access attempts by third parties.
