For more security, you can backup and restore your enrolled fingerprint(s) and Password Bank items.
The Backup function allows you to back up your enrolled fingerprint and Password Bank items.
Operating Procedures:
| 1. | Open BioConsole > Advanced Settings > Data Backup. |
| 2. | When the Backup dialog window pops up, you will be required to select the location, enter a backup password and select your backup item(s). |
| 3. | Click OK to complete the backup procedure. |
Note: This password is used when you want to restore this backup file in the future. It does not need to be the same as your Windows password. You may choose to enter a password hint to help you remember this password.
The Restore function allows you to restore the enrolled fingerprints and Password Bank items that you previously backed up.
Operating Procedures:
| 1. | Open BioConsole > Advanced Settings > Data Restore. |
| 2. | When the Restore dialog window pops up, you will be required to select the location, enter the backup password and select your restore item. |
| 3. | Click OK to complete the restore procedure. |
