You can set additional security function(s) to have complete control over the accessibility of your computer.
| 1. | Fast User Switch |
The Fast User Switch function allows multiple users of the same computer to switch to their own user account by swiping their enrolled fingers. For example, when there are 2 user accounts in one PC, user A can easily swipe his enrolled finger in user B’s Windows account environment to automatically switch to his own account environment. It’s a very convenient feature for multi-users or shared PC scenarios.
| 2. | Pre-Boot Authentication: |
Pre-Boot Authentication (PBA) provides an extra layer of protection for your computer at the BIOS level.
Operating procedures:
| 1. | Open BioConsole > Advanced Settings > BioExcess Function Settings. |
| 2. | When the Function Settings dialog window pops up, uncheck the check box for functions which you wish to disable. Fast User Switch is enabled by default. |
| 3. | Click OK to save your settings. |
