Adding a New Finger Launch Item
Finger Launch allows you to launch your favorite applications/websites with a simple swipe of your finger. You can add/edit/remove a Finger Launch item in the Finger Launch Management page. You must click OK to save your settings.
Adding a New Finger Launch Item
You may only add a Finger Launch item onto fingers which have been enrolled. The box above the enrolled fingers will have a drop down arrow when you move your cursor over it. There are four features in this drop down menu:
| 1. | Password Bank |
You can select one of the Password Bank Items as a Finger Launch item to perform automatic log on with a swipe of the selected finger. For example, you can assign your web mail account to your index finger. (Note: The web mail log on information should first be saved as a password bank item in your Password Bank. ) After setting the web mail account as your Finger Launch item, swipe your index finger over the sensor and the software will auto-launch the Internet Explorer Browser and log in to your web mail account for you. This SwipeOne feature allows you to log on directly as soon as you switch on your computer.
| 2. | Launch Express |
You can select one of the default functions on windows explorer which you want to launch quickly with the selected finger.
| 3. | Assign File |
You can choose a file from the desktop or Windows Explorer to be launched when you swipe the selected finger.
| 4. | Multi-Launcher |
You can assign up to three files/applications to be launched simultaneously with a swipe of the same finger. This can be done in three ways:
| • | Drag and drop file/application from desktop or Windows Explorer into one of the three boxes in Multi-Launcher window; or |
| • | Click on the empty box in the Multi-Launcher window and select a file from Windows Explorer; or |
| • | Move cursor over box in Multi-Launcher window and click the arrow. Select “Assign file” to select file. |
You can follow the instruction below to remove a Finger Launch Item:
Move cursor over box with selected file/application and click the drop down menu. Select and click Delete.
Note: If you delete a box which is attached to a Multi-Launcher function, you will disable all files/applications assigned to it.
