Enrolling a Fingerprint

Deleting an Enrolled Fingerprint

 

 

You can enroll new fingerprints and delete existing fingerprints in the Enrollment page.

 
 

Enrolling a Fingerprint

Operating Procedures:

1.Open Finger Convenience and click Enrollment.

2.Select the finger you wish to enroll by clicking the box on top of it.

3.You will see three fingerprint capture boxes; the finger you choose to enroll will be marked with a yellow dot. Swipe your finger across the sensor, slowly and precisely.

The system will capture all your fingerprint data and once enrollment is successful, it will state "Succeeded". Please click the Tutorial button for detailed information on fingerprint enrollment.

4.If the enrollment process failed, you will be notified with a red cross and asked to repeat the enrollment process.

5.Finish the enrollment by clicking OK, or repeat the above process to enroll another finger.

 

Note:

The system aims to capture three identical images. If you swipe your finger in a different angle, the image would be captured but the system needs more images to verify/enroll your fingerprint.
If you swipe too fast, the system will not capture the fingerprint and you would be required to re-swipe your fingerprint.

 

 

Deleting an Enrolled Fingerprint

Operating Procedures:

1.Open Finger Convenience and click Enrollment.

2.Click the box of the enrolled finger that you want to delete. A pop-up box will appear to ask if you want to delete the registered  fingerprint selected. Click Yes to  delete the fingerprint.

3.Repeat the above process if you wish to continue deleting other enrolled fingers. Click OK to save your settings when done.

 

Note:

When you delete an enrolled finger, any Finger Launch item assigned to that finger will also be deleted. If PBA is enabled, you will not be able to delete the last remaining PBA finger.
You are not allowed to delete all enrolled fingerprints.
