Data Encryption/Decryption

File and folder encryption provides convenient encryption and password protection for personal files. You can encrypt/decrypt your file/folder by right clicking on the file/folder and select BioExcess > Encrypt File/Decrypt File.

For the first time, the system will request that you set a default password, for convenient data encryption. To decrypt a file/folder you have to either swipe your finger or enter your Windows Logon Password.

Note: If your encrypted file has been sent to another user/computer, the default password is needed for file decryption. The user will also have to install BioExcess in order to decrypt the file.

Yo-Safe Management

Yo-Safe is a personal secure disk for you to store your private data in a virtual disk. When Yo-Safe is closed, no one will see or find your data in your computer. Only the authenticated fingerprint or password can open Yo-Safe. The Yo-Safe Management allows you to change the default configuration. You can access the feature from the BioConsole > Data Protection > Yo-Safe Management. From here, you can set the following settings:

1.Open/Close your Yo-Safe.
2.Change the location of the  hard  drive to store your Yo-Safe.
3.Set the amount of storage space/capacity for your Yo-Safe.
